Privacy
Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-10-29. This text describes what the site and the app do. It is not legal advice.
The site
- No cookies, no trackers, no analytics.
- No external fonts or resources: everything is served from the site itself.
- Like any web server, the host may keep technical logs (IP address, date): [to be completed by Matteo according to the host].
The Overwolf app
- Your role (survivor or killer), your builds and your match history are stored locally on your computer (localStorage). Nothing is sent to MetaDBD: we run no server that receives them.
- The app reads the end-of-match screen through a local screenshot (
overwolf.media), at low frequency and on reduced areas, only to extract the match summary. Screenshots are neither sent nor kept. - It never reads the game's memory, network, files or log.
- Outside matches, it fetches public data (wiki.gg, dbd.tricky.lol, public NightLight statistics): those services receive the usual technical requests, without your history.
- Your local data stays on your machine; you can remove it by clearing the app data or uninstalling it.
Ads and subscription
Outside matches, the app shows Overwolf ads. They are provided and managed by Overwolf, under its own privacy policy and rules. An ad-free subscription through Tebex is planned: payment would then be handled by Tebex and Overwolf, not by MetaDBD. No donations are requested.
Your rights and contact
Since MetaDBD does not hold your data, there is nothing to ask us to erase: it stays on your machine. For any question: [to be completed by Matteo: contact].
